Youth in Focus: That One Day
December 1 to 17, 2010

The students of Youth in Focus'  Advanced Black & White Photography class capture turning points and moments to remember in their exhibit, “That One Day.” This class was taught by photographer Khoi Nguyen and mentored by Annie Mulligan.

Youth in Focus uses photography as a medium to help urban teens explore their artistic vision and expand their self-expression. The award winning program has built partnerships with several community organizations in order to help young people document their perspectives and YIF encourages young photographers to draw upon their experiences, cultures, and communities as a source of inspiration. Youth In Focus participants, under the tutelage of local fine arts photographers, photojournalists and mentors, have created a magnificently textured body of work that documents their experiences and captures the world of Seattle’s urban youth.
