2026 Student Invitational Exhibition

M. Rosetta Hunter Art Gallery, Seattle Central College

The M. Rosetta Hunter Art Gallery presents the annual Student Invitational Exhibition, highlighting outstanding work by Seattle Central students across all disciplines and media.

Juried by Independent Curator Negarra A. Kudumu,  this exhibition showcases the depth of talent in our student community. Award winners were announced during the opening reception, which followed the Seattle Central Unity Fair.

  • 1st Place: Remnant by Altynai Saparbai
  • 2nd Place: Luminary by Lily Higler 
  • 3rd Place: The End Is Never by Ivan Romero

Students were also awarded staff picks this year:

  • Curator's Choice Award: Temporal Smearing: Uncertainty in the Age of Uncertainty by Naomi Deckard
  • Assistant Curator's Choice Award: Selves by Presley Garcia
  • Assistant Curator's Choice Award: Bumping Summer Song by Ravish Gupta
