Make Art Tuesday
Free weekly art + technology workshops at the M. Rosetta Hunter Art Gallery
Make Art Tuesday is a weekly drop-in workshop series for Seattle Central students. Every Tuesday from 1–2 PM, the gallery hosts hands-on creative activities with free materials and no experience required.
Workshops alternate between art-making and cyberdeck + creative technology projects, with projects developing throughout the quarter.
Art + Making
Art workshops focus on accessible, hands-on making and may include:
- Origami
- Fan making
- Collage
- Painting
- Drawing
- Paper-based projects
- Other creative activities
Cyberdecks + Creative Technology
New this year, alternating Make Art Tuesday sessions will introduce students to cyberdeck building and creative technology.
Students can experiment with small computers and screens, electronics, sensors, creative coding, physical interfaces, custom enclosures, 3D printing, and DIY hardware.
No coding, electronics, or 3D-printing experience is necessary.
