2021 Student Invitational Exhibition and Student Art Market
Deadline for submission: May 12, 5:00 PM (Pacific)
The M. Rosetta Hunter Art Gallery is seeking submissions for our annual student art competition: The 2021 Student Invitational Exhibition. We are accepting work in all media from Seattle Central students registered for 3 or more credits during Spring quarter, enrolled in ABE or Basic Studies courses, or enrolled in Continuing Education classes. Works will be included in an on-line exhibition starting May 18th as part of Central's Arts and Culture Jam.
$200 First Prize, $150 Second Prize, $100 Third Prize, and three $50 Honorable Mention prizes.
The gallery is also accepting submissions for the Student Arts Market, to be featured during Culture Jam, and open to all Seattle Central students registered for 3 or more credits during Spring quarter, enrolled in ABE or Basic Studies courses, or enrolled in Continuing Education classes. Arts Market works are offered peer-to-peer. Artists will be solely responsible for handling sales of their works and arranging delivery of purchased works to buyers. Artist email will be included as part of the listing for the Arts Market.
Students may submit ONE work for consideration for the Student Invitational Exhibition and up to FOUR additional works for the Student Art Market. All art must be original works by the student who is submitting the work
Submissions are by digital image only. Please make sure that images are of the best quality available. For tips on photographing artwork with your phone, click here:
