The M. Rosetta Hunter Gallery presents ‘Warp’, the work of artist and designer Mark Mitchell and multi-disciplinary artist and musician Kelly Fleek, a textile exhibition that explores themes of grief, loss, and regeneration.
Warp describes the lengthwise fibers of woven fabric, but also the process of distortion by external forces. As we enter our third year of the pandemic compounded with our own personal, communal and global traumas, ‘Warp’ honors the ways in which we are transformed by loss, and further how we honor that which is lost and move towards catharsis and renewal.
